Snakes and Ladders was written as a creative exercise for a senior year scriptwriting class. The idea was originally concieved in late-2007 after a fleeting thought about incompatible personalities who are missing out on great sex. Further developed in the following months but not fleshed out until mid/late-2008. Originally entitled Love/Hate Thing, but renamed after the song "Snakes and Ladders" by Basia Bulat after a epiphany early one morning in late September.
About
Play the game. Script for senior year scriptwriting paper.
Characters
Eleanor Brixley - Shoulder length brown hair, bright blue eyes. Almost 25. Professional and straight edged. Amicable.
Oliver Solomon - Suave, tall, dark-haired and handsome. As close to cliche as they come. Freshly 29. Cocky and confident, but generally likeable.
Millie Alexander - Dark-red hair, timid, but confident in some situations. Smitten with Oliver but not open about it. Age 24, but appears a little younger.
Allison Duvall - Strawberry blonde hair, lively brown eyes. Tall, but curvaceous. Same age as Eleanor, but acts a few years younger. Not technically a lawyer.
Sophie Axler
Plot
After a Christmas party in 2007, Eleanor Brixley finds herself in a difficult situation. She's slept with her co-worker, Oliver Solomon. The only problem is, she can't stand him. But it just so happens that the sex? Is just that amazing. Both being lawyers, they decide that being enemies with benefits will be beneficial to all involved. But six months later, Oliver announces he's met someone. Eleanor finds herself torn. Does she love him or the sex?
