Plot

Set in the not-too-distant future, Astrid Black is in a dead end relationship with her fiance of 2 years. Having just been employed at a newspaper on the brink of an ambiguous war, she meets David Everley. He's different and intriguing. Before she knows it she's totally enamored with him. All the while, a seemingly incurable disease hits the country - and everyone is terrified.
