Ludivine was the face of the early 1900s. Wavy, strawberry blonde hair, blue eyes, and a figure to render any pin-up girl ugly.
Personal Information
When she met her husband, Louis, in 1895, he was taken by her immediately. At the time, Ludivine was already engaged, to one Davide DeMarines. Louis, irrevocably in love, attempted to woo her, and in 1899, after many years of on-off dating and heartbreak, the two married. Ludivine had her first child in 1900, Jacques. Their second (and third) children came as a surprise: Juliette Louisa (more commonly referred to as Louisa, for she was named after a family friend (and incidentally her ex-fiance's sister-in-law) and Gregoire.
