Physical Description

Dark brown, almost black hair. Lucid but bright blue eyes. Tall, stocky but not fat. 5'11"ish.

David's just very very strange. He knows it. His girlfriend knows it (and loves it).

Backstory

David grew up in Portland, Maine. The eldest child of Charlie and Katrina Evers, he has a younger sister, Charlotte. David was the much longed-for son that Charlie had waited for. He adored Charlie and spent a lot of time with him as a child. The two have a very close bond and Charlie is fiercely protective of David and vice versa.

Their mother died when he was 8 (Charlotte was 5) in a freak car accident. David and his sister Charlotte were in the car at the time of the accident and though she died on impact, Charlotte and David were mostly unharmed. Charlotte suffered minor concussion and still currently has memory lapses. Their father remarried, to a woman ten years his junior, Madeleine Duke. David was 17 when they had their first daughter, Allison. They 'accidentally' got pregnant again and Baxter was born two and a half years later.

David's relationship with his stepmother is sometimes strained, though for the most part, they get along well and though Madeleine is frustratingly lazy and David often picks up the pieces, she does appreciate his support even if she finds it difficult to communicate with him.

Leaving for college in 1999, he met Julianna Ward. She was in her Sophomore year when he began and the two came close during the second half of his Sophomore year. He couldn't ever explain what it was about her that had drawn him to her and though he often tried to find a reason for it, there was nothing in particular that he could hone it down to. He realised in his Junior year that he was, in fact, in love with her.

At the time she was dating his roommate and one of his best friends and as he came to this realization he decided to try and ignore these feelings and continue on with college. This became increasingly difficult to maintain as the two grew even closer and in the middle of a movie watching session that had unintentionally became private he broke down and confessed to her how he felt. Her reaction was not what he had anticipated, even though he was aware that she had somewhat of a reciprocation of feelings, he retreated and moved to Australia on a spur of the moment decision.

David hasn't been with anyone ever since. He likes to believe he's fucked up beyond repair, but some people know better. In fact, one night she told him so, and the two kissed, but they didn't speak for weeks after that. Luckily for him, after being accosted by Astrid about her feelings for him, he finally realized how much she meant to him. The two have been together since.
